What started out as Patricia (Eva Habermann) the nurse’s last day turns into a battle for survival when the doctor’s machine inadvertently turns a patient’s tumour into a cyst-monster that terrorizes the office.。影片描述省城来的白衣天使夏杰茹医生巡诊中发现女孩余芯身患重病，因当地医院无法检测，遂告别警察男友程度匆匆赶回省城。女孩余芯的父亲余大勇为给女儿余芯凑钱治病，伙同他人抢窃银行，罪犯两死一伤，而余大勇侥幸脱逃，余大勇虽是从犯，但是破案关键，上级指示，必须追捕到案。警方调查余芯，夏医生告之前来调查的警察，余芯身患重病，孩子可配合调查，但不能惊吓孩子。余大勇被捕后，有感于政府、医院与夏医生对女儿的照顾和关怀，终交代了案情，助警方破案……。
