Average Texas teen, Billie Jean Davy, is caught up in an odd fight for justice. She is usually followed and harrased around by local boys, who, one day, decide to trash her brother's scooter for fun. The boys' father refuses to pay them back the price of the scooter. The fight for "fair is fair" takes the teens around the state and produces an unlikely hero.。18岁浪人（重考生）由瑠芽从乡下出来寻梦，准备去东京的补习学校进行重读。入住了远离东京城区的“希望宅邸”，这个名为“宅邸”的地方其实只是个虚有其名的破烂公寓。而住在里面的民民全部都是被习生，但大学入学者为零。由瑠芽与川野纱江、田中久实、以及从小就有张大叔脸的松吉这四人，不知道是幸运还是不幸地意气投合，一起过起了“遗忘人生辛劳”的悠闲人生。而努力学习……多半是没有做过的。究竟这四人能不能考进大学呢？本作描写了他们在那样的公寓里悠哉生活的有趣故事。。
